During my years at Uni, I have designed and made 1:25 scale models for a range of plays. I love the process of designing set for theatre, from getting a script, to breaking it down, drafting ideas, mood boards and model making.

For my most recent set designs, Therese Raquin and Maria Marten, we discussed ideas with the director, such a colour pallet, time period and many other things. For one of the set designs I worked closely with another costume designer to cohesively design which we found really helpful, we were able to decide on a colour scheme, create mood boards together and discuss ideas.

I have learnt so many model making techniques over the past few years, making a range of different things, from a tree, to beds, curtains, treehouses, people and so many more.
